Job summary

CAPTRUST is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer in Raleigh, NC to own Azure infrastructure standards, deploy secure, scalable cloud solutions, and drive automation and governance across platforms.

You will design and maintain compute, storage, and networking components, implement IaC with PowerShell and ARM templates, and lead reliability improvements while collaborating with developers, operations, and security teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of Azure infrastructure experience.
• Advanced PowerShell, ARM templates, and automation skills.
• Strong knowledge of Virtual Machines, App Services, Automation, Azure Policy, Key Vault.
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-900) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure solutions.
• Own Azure infrastructure implementation for compute, storage, networking components, and PaaS.
• Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code patterns using PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure Automation.
• Implement and enforce Azure security best practices and compliance standards across infrastructure services.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues and drive reliability improvements.
• Establish monitoring and operational practices to maintain system performance and reduce service degradation.
• Implement and enforce governance controls using Azure Policy and Key Vault.
• Conduct policy audits and ensure compliance across Azure resources.
• Standardize and analyze Azure resource usage; support cost optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with developers, operations, and security personnel to support technology strategy.

The ideal candidate can design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions, optimize infrastructure for efficiency and performance, and drive consistent automation and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Own Azure infrastructure implementation for compute, storage, networking components, and Platform as a Service
• Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code patterns using PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure Automation
• Implement and enforce Azure security best practices and compliance standards across infrastructure services
• Lead troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues and drive reliability improvements
