Job summary

JMD Technologies Inc. is seeking experienced Azure IaaS Engineers to support cloud infrastructure operations, Azure governance, and migration initiatives across multiple U.S. locations.

The role requires hands-on Azure experience, Windows and/or Linux administration, and a customer-focused mindset. You will manage IaaS environments, implement security policies, and collaborate with teams to optimize performance, availability, and DR capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CS/IT/Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years in an engineering/operations role.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on Azure Cloud Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Azure IaaS environments (compute, storage, networking, VMs).
• Implement and maintain Azure governance, cost management, security policies.
• Configure Azure networking, IAM, and Azure AD (Entra ID).
• Support cloud migration initiatives: assessment, planning, execution, post-migration validation.
• Utilize Azure Migrate and ASR/DRaaS for migration, backup, and DR requirements.
• Monitor Azure infrastructure performance, availability, and resource utilization; troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Support Windows and/or Linux OS and virtualization technologies as required.
• Develop and maintain ARM templates and PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and security.
• Maintain documentation and follow security practices.
• Deliver high-quality customer experience through effective communication.
