Job summary

Oakwood Systems Group is seeking an experienced HPC Azure Engineer to design, deploy, optimize, and support High-Performance Computing workloads within Microsoft Azure. This role blends cloud infrastructure expertise with HPC technologies to accelerate engineering, scientific, AI/ML, rendering, financial modeling, and simulation workloads in Azure.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, networking, automation, Linux administration, and HPC technologies such as

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Azure-based HPC environments and hybrid cloud solutions.
Deploy and manage Azure CycleCloud, Azure Batch, and HPC clusters.
Architect highly available and scalable compute, storage, and networking solutions.
Develop solutions for burst-to-cloud and hybrid HPC workloads.
Configure and support Azure Virtual Networks, VPNs, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Load Balancers, and DNS services.
Monitor and optimize Azure workloads for performance, reliability, and cost management.
