Job summary

Oakwood Systems Group is seeking an Azure Engineer to join our Cloud & Infrastructure team. You will design, implement, deploy, and support modern cloud solutions across Azure and hybrid infrastructure for diverse client environments.

You will work with clients and internal teams to optimize Azure environments, Microsoft 365 services, and related security and governance considerations. This role emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or cloud engineering experience.
• 1–3 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Experience with Azure VM, Storage, VNets, Backup, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 Administration.
• Basic understanding of cloud security and governance concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft Azure environments.
• Assist with Azure migrations and cloud modernization projects.
• Manage and maintain Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, and Azure AD.
• Support Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud environments.
• Monitor Azure resources and troubleshoot performance, availability, and security issues.
• Implement Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Configure and maintain identity management solutions, including Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on infrastructure and cloud projects.
• Stay current on Azure services, best practices, and emerging technologies.

About the Role:

We are seeking an Azure Engineer to join our Cloud & Infrastructure team.
