EY's GPS Technology Organization seeks an experienced engineering leader to deliver cloud platforms for government programs in Azure Government and ensure secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions. You will guide technical direction, mentor teams, and balance delivery, quality, risk, and platform health in security‑constrained environments.

This role emphasizes DevSecOps, architecture reviews, and cross‑team collaboration within a hybrid, client‑facing setting, with a focus on building

Qualifications

• 7+ years in engineering roles with cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT
• Azure certifications AZ-104 and AZ-305
• Hands-on with IaC and CI/CD tooling
• Containerization and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Networking fundamentals for cloud deployments
• Cloud security principles and governance
• Identity and access management in cloud environments
• Agile delivery experience
• Strong written and verbal communication across distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Own cloud platform and infrastructure delivery across multiple initiatives
• Set and guide technical direction for Azure Government platforms
• Establish DevSecOps practices and automation
• Make informed delivery trade-off decisions balancing speed, quality, and risk
• Lead architecture and design reviews and ensure standards alignment
• Manage risks, dependencies and issues across delivery efforts
• Influence stakeholders to align priorities without direct authority
• Mentor and grow engineering talent
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and tooling
