Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Lead in the United States to own the delivery of Azure Government cloud platforms, translating mission needs into secure, scalable infrastructure. Lead multiple workstreams and guide technical direction for sustainable cloud services at scale.

You’ll establish DevSecOps practices, drive architecture reviews, balance risk with delivery speed, and develop engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience with private/public cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Microsoft AZ-104 and AZ-305 certifications.
• Strong hands‑on with IaC & CI/CD (Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible, Azure DevOps).
• Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Helm).
• Networking fundamentals for cloud architectures (VNets, subnets, NSGs).
• Cloud security principles and identity/access management concepts.
• Experience with government security frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP).
• Experience delivering in Agile environments; Top‑Secret clearance ideal.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of cloud platform and infrastructure capabilities across initiatives.
• Set and guide technical direction for Azure Government platforms.
• Establish and evolve DevSecOps practices and automation approaches.
• Make informed trade-off decisions balancing speed, quality, and risk.
• Lead architecture and design reviews ensuring alignment with standards.
• Oversee risk, dependency, and issue management across delivery efforts.
• Grow engineering talent through coaching and delegation.
• Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.
