Job summary

Analytica seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern cloud-based applications supporting federal government missions. The Full Stack Azure Developer will work across the stack, delivering scalable front-end and back-end solutions using Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate has strong full-stack experience, hands-on Azure expertise, and the ability to translate mission requirements into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant experience in full-stack application development.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
• Hands-on experience developing applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong backend development with C#/.NET, Python, or similar.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and web services.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with SQL and Git; CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments; ability to obtain/maintain U.S. federal clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern development frameworks and Azure cloud technologies.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using React, Angular, or similar JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Build scalable back-end services, APIs, and microservices using C#, .NET Core, Python, or similar technologies.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and other services to support application/data integration requirements.
• Leverage Azure services such as Azure App Service, Functions, API Management, Storage, SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, and Key Vault.
• Implement cloud-native architectures with microservices, serverless computing, containers, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop and optimize databases using SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, etc.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies; collaborate with architects and stakeholders on technical approaches.
• Create technical docs, architecture diagrams, API docs, and deployment procedures.
• Support modernization, migrating legacy apps to Azure cloud-native architectures.
• Ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, accessibility, and data management requirements.
