Job description

Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Documenting and maintaining cloud service and operations run books
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues while securing, managing, and monitoring Azure environments
• Assist with deployment and monitoring of application and related services
• Serve as the escalation point for junior offshore operations associates
• Work with our development team to recommend, plan, implement, and manage our Azure Infrastructure according to best practices and security

Requirements

• 8-years of overall IT Infrastructure Engineering experience is required with a minimum of 5 years in Azure Infrastructure engineering and operations
• Self-starter and be able to plan and manage projects with minimal handholding
• Knowledge of authentication MFA, and RBAC
• Experience with cloud security controls including conditional access policies, tenant isolation, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• Experience building and supporting mission critical technology components
• Experience with maintaining network orchestration/automation services, including building, and maintaining playbooks, and automation workflows
• Ability to balance what is strategically right with what is practically realistic
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Leadership skills be able to inspire others and persuade
• Familiarity with Database Administration
• Must have technical experience to design, implement, manage and execute secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure in a regulated environment
• Experience in supporting high volume systems
• Firm footing in working with both systems and network domains while keeping the security and compliance in the forefront
• Extensive hands-on working experience with AD, AAD and M365 and underlying Identity and access management (IAM)
