Job description

Overview

Fluent in English plays a key role in the design, development, and management of our Azure infrastructure. This position is responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing Azure public cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in provisioning and troubleshooting Azure infrastructure resources, as well as strong skills in identifying and resolving complex issues efficiently and professionally.

In this role, the Azure Engineer will contribute to building new environments for our cloud customers and ensure that these environments are developed and maintained for high availability, scalability, and ease of maintenance. Collaboration with customers will also be an important part of the job, particularly when scheduling maintenance windows and coordinating change management activities.

Location: Tampa, FL (hybrid), US (remote), Poland (remote), Ukraine (remote)

Working Schedule: EST office hours

All new hires in North America complete in-person onboarding at our Tampa office, which typically lasts 3 to 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Implement, support, and maintain 24x7 Azure CSP environments, RDS deployments and Windows technologies.
• Make ongoing recommendations of Azure and Windows policies and standards – strategic planning.
• Manage multiple large-scale projects in a fast-paced challenging environment and provide leadership to other members of the team.
• Quickly convert business problems into technical solutions and opportunities.
• Resolve Azure, Windows, and RDS escalations from clients and other team members.
• Collaborate with customers and team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain and prioritize incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage configuration and deployment of Azure resources in compliance with established technology policies.
• Recommend technical solutions that will enhance performance, increase redundancy, and add flexibility to the existing infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot Azure and Windows performance issues.
• Maintain system availability and monitoring of critical services.
• Maintain appropriate relationships with 3rd party vendors and evaluate vendor software, and communications products to provide recommendations to leadership.
• Regular participation in change control activities that comply with ITIL change management.
• Establish upgrade and backup strategies for core infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Experience:
  • 4+ years’ experience implementing and supporting Azure, Windows, and RDS technologies.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows technologies: RDS, IIS, GPO’s, Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of NetScaler Load Balancing solutions and Azure networking.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft CSP program and Lighthouse.
  • M365/SharePoint support and implementation.
  • AVD support and implementation.
  • Powershell/Automation experience.
  • Experience with ASR/DR testing and failovers.
  • AZ-104 certification.
  • Working knowledge of M365 infrastructure and management.
  • Positive attitude, enjoy challenging solutions involving Azure, Citrix and Window architecture and maintenance.
• Analytical Skills:
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to create and interpret sales KPIs.
  • Initiative-taker who can work independently on complex issues.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated capability to achieve results under pressure.
• Communication:
  • Fluent in English
  • Demonstrates communication and interpersonal skills, with experience building relationships across teams.

Work Structure & Collaboration

We embrace flexibility in how we work, with office locations in Tampa, FL; Fargo, ND; and Kyiv, Ukraine. We prioritize hiring candidates based in or near these locations. In North America, onboarding is in person at Tampa, typically 3 to 5 days. Our offices foster collaboration and culture.
