Job summary

Safran in New York is seeking a well-rounded Systems & Network Administrator to support and maintain our enterprise IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on networking, Windows Server administration, Azure networking, and cloud technologies.

You will collaborate with global IT colleagues and Cybersecurity on cloud migration and modernization projects while providing Tier 2 end-user support and managing ongoing infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in IT or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of enterprise network and server experience.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco switches, Palo Alto firewalls, Windows Server, Azure, Entra ID, and M365 administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPN connectivity, routing, and network troubleshooting.
• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and enterprise authentication services.
• Administer Microsoft Azure services including Azure networking, virtual networks, security groups, identity services, and cloud resources.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and licensing.
• Support VMware virtual infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, snapshots, and server maintenance.
• Perform Tier 2 end-user support for escalated desktop, laptop, and application issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and enterprise applications.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, security initiatives, disaster recovery planning, and future cloud migration projects.
• Monitor system health, performance, backups, and infrastructure availability.
• Document systems, procedures, and technical configurations following IT best practices.
• Support conference room technology, printers, security badge systems, and other business-critical infrastructure as needed.
