Job summary

ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design and operate Azure infrastructure and secure deployment pipelines in a hybrid Stamford, CT environment. You will partner with application, security, and project teams to implement guardrails and reusable platform patterns.

You will build and maintain IaC, automate deployments, and ensure compliance with governance and SOX requirements while supporting on-call incidents and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DevSecOps, cloud, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven record of designing, deploying, and supporting production workloads in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building and securing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, approvals, environment promotion, and release strategies.
• Strong infrastructure as code skills in Terraform or OpenTofu; experience with a platform orchestration layer is a plus.
• Hands-on security and governance knowledge: Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud.
• Hands-on container experience with Docker, AKS, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Build and run Azure infrastructure and platform services that are secure and well monitored.
• Create and own CI/CD pipelines with built-in security controls and approvals.
• Deliver infrastructure as code using Terraform or OpenTofu and publish reusable modules.
• Implement identity, access, and secrets controls with Entra ID and Key Vault.
• Set up policy as code and governance guardrails with Azure Policy and Defender for Cloud.
• Monitor and troubleshoot across compute, storage, databases, and networking, including on-call duties.
