Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Azure DevOps Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will enable reliable software delivery, automate operations, and support mission-critical transportation and logistics applications.

You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and operations teams to deliver resilient, secure, and highly available technology solutions, with a remote-friendly setup and location in

Qualifications

6+ years of experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
Experience administering Microsoft Azure cloud environments and services.
Hands-on expertise with VMs, networking, storage, security, and monitoring.
Automating infrastructure with PowerShell and IaC techniques.
Knowledge of Azure security, governance, and best practices.
Experience with Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server administration.
Experience with SSIS and enterprise data integration.
Knowledge of IBM MQ administration and messaging infrastructure.
Experience with code quality/security scanning tools like SonarQube.
Strong DevOps/SRE mindset: automation, observability, and IaC.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support enterprise delivery.
Manage Azure cloud infrastructure: compute, networking, storage, security, monitoring.
Automate deployment and operations using PowerShell and IaC.
Monitor performance, health, and reliability of platforms and apps.
Administer Windows Server and IIS environments and SQL Server operations.
Support SSIS ETL processes and data integration workflows.
Administer IBM MQ environments, including queues and messaging.
Embed security controls and governance across the delivery lifecycle.
Develop reusable infrastructure templates and runbooks.
Lead incident response and troubleshooting for deployments and infra.
Document procedures and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
