Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Azure DevOps Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will enable reliable software delivery, automate operational processes, and support mission-critical transportation and logistics applications.

You will lead CI/CD pipelines, manage Azure infrastructure, automate deployments with PowerShell and IaC, and ensure platform observability and security.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.
• Experience administering Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Hands-on with Azure services including VMs, networking, storage, security, and monitoring.
• Automation of infrastructure and operations using PowerShell.
• Strong Azure security, governance, and cloud best practices.
• Proven SQL Server administration, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting SSIS and enterprise data integration processes.
• Knowledge of IBM MQ administration and messaging infrastructure.
• Experience with code quality and security scanning platforms like SonarQube.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure including compute, networking, and storage.
• Automate deployment and operational tasks using PowerShell and IaC.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and health of platforms and apps.
• Administer Windows Server and IIS environments in enterprise settings.
• Lead troubleshooting and incident response for deployments and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, documentation, and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation and scalability.
