Job summary

Digital Charter, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Azure DevOps Support Specialist to help onboarding teams into Azure DevOps, answer questions, and teach users to use Azure Boards with confidence.

This people-facing role emphasizes clear communication and patience; full training on Azure DevOps environment and onboarding processes is provided.

You will work with project managers and end users to ensure access, proper boards, and smooth adoption of Azure DevOps across teams.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with training provided.
• Experience supporting end users is preferred.
• Ability to explain technical tools in plain language.

Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding teams and projects into Azure DevOps.
• Assist in receiving and tracking access requests from project managers and users, confirming each request is complete before it is handed off for submission.
• Assist in confirming that new users can log in, reach their project, and see the right boards and areas.
• Assist in tracking onboarding status for each team and sharing progress with the team.
• Respond to Azure DevOps how-to questions and access issues.
• Troubleshoot common user issues and resolve them where possible.
• Route requests that need further support to the appropriate team member, and follow up until closed.
• Log support requests and their resolution so recurring issues can be spotted and fixed.
• Teach users to work in Azure Boards: creating and updating work items, using backlogs and sprints, running queries, and reading dashboards.
• Deliver training one-on-one and in group sessions over Microsoft Teams.
• Create and maintain user guides, quick reference sheets, FAQs, and short how-to videos.
• Gather user feedback and improving training materials.
• Schedule onboarding and training sessions, and capturing notes and action items.
• Draft clear, professional emails and announcements to users and stakeholders.
• Assist in other team tasks as assigned.
