Job summary

Resourcesoft, Inc. is seeking a senior Azure DevOps Architect to lead enterprise cloud migrations and tenant transitions. You will define operating models, supervise comprehensive discovery, and craft detailed cutover plans while guiding engineers through YAML pipelines, agent pools, and service connections.

The role requires deep expertise in Azure DevOps, Entra ID governance, and automation scripting. Strong communication with stakeholders nationwide is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Azure DevOps platform administration and migrations.
• Proficiency with Entra ID tenant architecture and access governance.
• Experience with multi-stage YAML pipelines, Azure Repos, and self-hosted agents.
• Automation scripting using Azure DevOps REST APIs, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
• Experience with pipeline security dependencies: service connections, variable groups, secure files.
• Experience in authoring migration runbooks, cutover strategies, rollback frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect target operating model, tenant transition strategy, and identity access frameworks.
• Lead current-state technical discovery across cloud environments.
• Develop detailed migration runbooks, testing strategies, production cutover plans, and rollback procedures.
• Direct hands-on engineering staff in reconfiguring YAML pipelines, agent pools, and service connections.
• Facilitate technical discovery workshops and align cross-functional stakeholder groups across organizations.
• Oversee migration rehearsals, readiness assessments, production go-live events, and post-cutover stabilization.
• Manage project risks, technical dependencies, escalation workflows, and executive status reporting.
