Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Platform Architect to define target-state architecture, migrations from Azure DevOps Server to Azure DevOps Services and GitHub, and establish governance and DevSecOps practices. The role also supports deployment automation through CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.

The ideal candidate leads with hands-on expertise across Azure services and enterprise-scale transformations, guiding teams on security, governance, and scalable automation.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting and leading Azure DevOps platforms at scale.
• Proficient with GitHub Enterprise Cloud and GitHub Actions.
• Strong CI/CD, DevSecOps, release management, and YAML based automation.
• IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Hands-on with core Azure services (App Service, AKS, Key Vault, SQL, Monitor).
• Understanding of identity, security, RBAC, and governance for DevOps.
• Experience with REST APIs, scripting, and automation for platform integrations.
• Led enterprise migrations and modernization of DevOps platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assess and architect Azure DevOps platforms across teams and projects.
• Define governance models, operating standards, and best practices.
• Lead migrations of work items, repos, pipelines, and test assets to target platforms.
• Establish CI/CD and DevSecOps standards for Azure deployments.
• Develop reusable pipeline templates and infrastructure automation patterns.
• Design secure access-control and service-connection models.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and implementation guidance.
