Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Lead Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and secure cloud-native delivery on Azure using Kubernetes and containerization.

You will guide best practices for CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure automation in an Agile setting. You will architect Azure-based platform components, lead CI/CD in Azure DevOps, operate AKS clusters, implement Helm and Terraform, secure Docker images, establish GitOps with Argo CD, and automate tasks with Bash/Python.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Azure experience spanning compute/storage/networking/databases.
• 1+ year in a lead role guiding CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on Azure deployment and management in Kubernetes environments.
• Project ownership in Agile settings with strong collaboration.
• Proficient in deploying and operating AKS, Helm, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect Azure-based components across compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Lead CI/CD implementation in Azure DevOps and promote reliable release practices.
• Build and operate AKS clusters, including scaling and upgrades.
• Configure Kubernetes networking, security, and storage to standards.
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform or ARM templates.
• Establish GitOps workflows using Argo CD and automate tasks with Bash/Python.
• Integrate container scanning tools in pipelines and guide best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes.
