Job summary

IntelliBee is seeking a Build Engineer with Azure and .NET expertise to design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for .NET Core/8+ and Angular/SPA stacks.

You will automate infrastructure with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates, manage dependencies, and ensure gate quality with static analysis and testing in your pipelines.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience with Azure DevOps Services (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Test Plans).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Operational knowledge of Azure Cloud Services relevant to the stack (App Services, AKS, SQL).
• Deep understanding of build engines and packaging tools for .NET and web stacks (dotnet CLI, MSBuild, NuGet, npm, Webpack).
• Strong scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI for automation.
• Familiarity with containerizing .NET and SPA apps using Docker and deploying to AKS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines.
• Automate cloud infrastructure hosting these stacks with IaC tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Manage code repositories and centralize package management via Azure Artifacts.
• Integrate gating, static analysis (SonarQube), and tests into pipelines.
• Handle app configurations and secrets with Azure Key Vault policies.
• Provide escalation support during Go-Live phases and deployment windows.
• Define and enforce structured branching strategies (GitFlow, release branches).

Build Engineer with Azure and .Net Experience

Required Skills:

• DevOps Tools: Expert-level experience with Azure DevOps Services (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Test Plans).
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Cloud Platform: Operational knowledge of Azure Cloud Services relevant to the stack, such as Azure App Services, Azure Container Instances, Azure Static Web Apps, and Azure SQL.
• Application Stack Ecosystem: Deep understanding of build engines and packaging tools for Microsoft and Web environments, including dotnet CLI, MSBuild, NuGet, npm, and Webpack.
• Automation & Scripting: Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI for automating manual processes and web application configurations.
• Containerization: Familiarity with containerizing .NET and SPA solutions using Docker and deploying to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills Experience:

• 3–5+ years of dedicated experience in a Build/Release Engineering or DevOps role supporting Microsoft-centric and modern UI application stacks.
• Problem Solving: Strong root-cause analysis skills to quickly debug broken .NET builds, Angular compilation warnings, Blazor runtime asset delivery errors, and environmental discrepancies.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to coordinate across distinct phase owners, including Software Architecture, Development, QA, and Operations teams.
• Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Certification: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) is a major plus. Responsibilities
• Tailored CI/CD Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain robust build and release pipelines using Azure Pipelines (YAML) specifically optimized for compilation of .NET Core/.NET 8+, Angular SPA via npm, and Blazor WebAssembly/Server components.
• Environment Provisioning: Automate and manage cloud infrastructure hosting these stacks (e.g., Azure App Services, Static Web Apps, AKS) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Artifact & Dependency Management: Manage version control repositories (Azure Repos / Git) and centralize package management via Azure Artifacts for internal NuGet and npm packages.
• Quality & Security Gating: Integrate compilation error tracking, static code analysis (e.g., SonarQube), vulnerability scanning, and automated testing suites directly into the pipeline gates for both back-end and front-end architectures.
• Configuration Management: Manage and secure application configurations (appsettings.json, environment files), application secrets, and connection strings utilizing Azure Key Vault.
• Troubleshooting & War Room Support: Provide real-time technical triage during critical deployment windows, code freezes, and milestone Go-Live phases, debugging IIS, Azure Web App, or hosting environment runtime errors.
• Branching Strategy Management: Define, implement, and enforce structured branching and merging strategies (e.g., GitFlow, release branching) to support parallel development streams.
