Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab across the full application lifecycle. The role focuses on reliable deployments, scalable builds, and close collaboration with development teams.

Responsibilities include managing Azure resources with IaC (Terraform, ARM/Bicep), implementing security controls, and integrating SCA/SAST. You will help automate testing, monitoring, and incident response to improve delivery speed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps engineering roles.
• 3+ years working with GitLab CI/CD.
• Proven experience managing Azure cloud resources.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab to support full build lifecycles.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep to provision Azure resources.
• Optimize Azure resources and AKS for scalable deployments.
• Enforce secure practices: secret management and least-privilege access.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to automate deployments.
• Monitor pipelines with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Troubleshoot pipelines and drive incident post-mortems.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to improve deployment speed and reliability.
