Fully Remote

Optomi, in partnership with a global retail company, is seeking a Senior DevOps Architect to lead the modernization and standardization of our clients infrastructure code and DevOps practices. This role will serve as the senior technical voice in the team, ensuring technical excellence, mentoring junior team members, and driving the adoption of best practices across our Azure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and implement incoming technical requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across the DevOps function
• Refactor and consolidate existing infrastructure code into standardized, reusable Terraform templates.
• Enhance and optimize existing CI/CD pipelines in Azure.
• Write, manage, and improve automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
• Identify areas for improvement in current DevOps processes and implement scalable solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to elevate team capabilities and ensure knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience as a DevOps Architect in Azure environments.
• Expertise in Terraform—designing, writing, and managing infrastructure as code.
• Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps tools and services.
• Demonstrated experience in consolidating infrastructure code and pipeline optimization.
• Ability to assess and remediate infrastructure code.
• Strong communication and leadership skills—must be comfortable mentoring and coaching junior team members.
