Job summary

A leading technology consulting firm is looking for an Azure DevOps Architect specializing in Azure DevOps pipeline development. This role entails designing, developing, and maintaining DevOps systems to meet functional objectives. Candidates should have recent architect-level experience, a strong background in Agile methodologies, and proficiency in Azure DevOps pipelines using YAML or Python. The position may allow remote work for exceptional candidates. Anticipated pay is $67-74/hr.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent Architect level experience.
• 5+ years fulltime agile (SAFe preferably) methodology experience.
• Ability to travel to client sites every couple of months.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) helpful.
• Good experience with Terraform is a plus.
• Strong experience with writing Azure DevOps pipelines with YAML or Python.

Prominent is assisting our client find an Azure DevOps Architect specializing in Azure DevOps pipeline development designs, develops, tests, installs, and maintains DevOps systems, applications, networks, and/or telecom and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Preference given to candidates residing in or within a commutable distance to Greenwood Village, Colorado, Omaha, NE, Berkeley Heights, NJ, or Frisco, TX. Remote may be possible for a ‘rock star’! The DevOps Architect:

• Assesses system, application, network, and/or telecom needs, provides modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality, and evaluates and implement new advanced technologies.
• Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions.
• Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project.
• Assigns resources and delegates tasks to meet project deliverables.

Potential candidates will need to have the ability to work W2 on Prominents’ payroll during the contract period.

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) helpful
• Good experience with Terraform is a plus
• Strong experience with writing Azure DevOps pipelines with either YAML or Python, familiarity with Azure GovCloud regions, Federal govt ZeroTrust security architecture, and strong familiarity with the numerous Azure platforms and infrastructure resources available.

Anticipated pay range in the $67-74/hr range.
