Job summary

SYSMIND LLC is seeking a Lead Azure Engineer/Azure Architect onsite in Omaha, NE. The role requires hands-on expertise in Azure architecture, cloud migrations, and modernizing workloads with PaaS services, API Management, and event-driven designs.

You will design secure, scalable network architectures, implement Front Door and Application Gateway, and lead IaC automation using Bicep, ARM Templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI, while leveraging Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT, with at least 4-5 years focused on Azure Architecture and cloud migration projects.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) strongly preferred.
• Lead Azure Architect with 8+ years of IT experience, including 4-5 years in Azure architecture and cloud migration.
• Expert in designing, planning, and executing large-scale migrations to Azure, including lift-and-shift and modernization.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM Templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI for automated deployments.
• Skilled in building secure, scalable network architectures and implementing Azure Front Door and Application Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline automation, testing, and deployment.
• Strong background in modernizing workloads using Azure PaaS services, API Management, and event-driven architectures.
