Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Platform Architect with deep expertise across the Azure DevOps ecosystem, including Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, Artifacts, Security, Governance, and Integrations. The candidate should also have working knowledge of core Azure services used in cloud deployments and automation.

The ideal candidate will assess current-state environments, define target-state Azure DevOps architecture, lead migrations from Azure DevOps Server to Azure DevOps Services and GitHub, establish governance and DevSecOps practices, and support Azure deployment automation through CI/CD pipelines.

Required Experience

• Azure DevOps Server and Azure DevOps Services
• Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, and Artifacts
• GitHub Enterprise Cloud and GitHub Actions
• CI/CD, DevSecOps, release management, and YAML-based automation
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Working knowledge of Azure services such as App Service, Functions, AKS, Storage, Key Vault, Azure SQL, Azure Monitor, and Analytics
• Identity, security, permissions, service connections, RBAC, and governance
• Azure DevOps REST APIs, scripting, integrations, and automation
• Enterprise-scale migrations and platform modernization

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and architect Azure DevOps platforms

Preferred

• 10+ years of DevOps/ALM experience
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification preferred
• Experience supporting Azure deployments, infrastructure automation, or cloud modernization initiatives
• Experience leading enterprise Azure DevOps and GitHub transformation initiatives

Ideal Candidate: A hands‑on Azure DevOps expert who can advise on platform architecture, migrations, CI/CD, security, governance, and integrations, while also being comfortable with core Azure services, infrastructure as code, and automated cloud deployments.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$130000- $150000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
