Wipro is seeking an Azure Databricks Engineer in Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable Lakehouse solutions on Azure using Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, Spark SQL, ADLS Gen2, ADF, and Synapse with modern data governance practices.

The candidate will drive cloud data architecture, Databricks platform design, performance optimization, migration, data modeling, streaming, and security. Role requires 5-8 years of relevant experience and on-site work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in cloud data architecture with Databricks platform design.

Responsibilities

• Design Databricks Lakehouse architecture using Delta Lake and Bronze/Silver/Gold layers.
• Build pipelines with Databricks Workflows, Delta Live Tables, Auto Loader, ADF, and Databricks SQL.
• Work with ADLS Gen2, Synapse, PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL for enterprise data solutions.
• Optimize Spark workloads via partitioning, cluster sizing, data skew handling, and Photon acceleration.
• Lead migration from SAS, Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Synapse and legacy ETL platforms.
• Define data modeling, domain architecture, batch/streaming, governance, security, lineage, and access controls.
