Job summary

Deloitte in Stamford, CT is seeking an Azure/Databricks Infrastructure Engineer III to design, implement, and optimize secure Azure and Databricks environments supporting analytics and AI. You will help with cloud modernization, platform delivery, and enterprise data transformation across client engagements.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure networking, Databricks governance, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines, plus up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/Engineering/IS/Analytics or related field
• 4+ years of Azure cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or enterprise delivery experience
• Hands-on Azure networking, Landing Zones, cloud architecture, and deployment experience
• Experience administering Databricks environments including Unity Catalog, governance, and cluster management
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
• Experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, governance, and enterprise platform operations
• Willingness to travel ~50%, based on client work

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support Azure cloud infrastructure and Databricks environments for enterprise clients
• Implement Azure landing zones, networking, security controls, and scalable cloud architectures
• Configure and administer Databricks workspaces, Unity Catalog, governance, and platform security controls
• Develop IaC solutions using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates; automate deployments via CI/CD
• Support cloud modernization, analytics, AI, and data transformation through architecture reviews and workshops
• Participate in architecture reviews, client discussions, and delivery planning
