Job summary

Fractal Analytics Inc in Dallas, Texas, is seeking an experienced Lead Azure Architect to design and deliver large-scale data and AI platforms using Azure core services.

You will translate requirements into scalable architectures, engage with clients and stakeholders, guide delivery teams, and optimize cost while enabling ML Ops at scale on AKS. The role requires 10+ years of experience and hands-on work with Synapse, Databricks, ADF, Cosmos, and data modeling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development and architecture experience.
• Experience translating requirements into Azure-based data solutions.
• Experience delivering dashboards and analytics solutions.
• Experience with Python, Spark, APIs.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into technical design
• Interact with clients and internal stakeholders to understand data and platform requirements and determine core Azure services
• Architect on Azure platform to meet client functional and non-functional needs
• Evaluate technology landscape and recommend a strategic vision
• Prepare and respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs
• Oversee design and solution architecture ensuring modular, scalable codebase
• Design, develop and deliver data integration interfaces in ADF and Azure Databricks
• Deliver data models on Azure platform (Cosmos, Synapse, or SQL)
• Advise on ML Engineering and deploying ML Ops at scale on AKS
• Automate activities to reduce delivery lead times and improve quality
• Deploy CI/CD processes and monitoring across integration points
