Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure data services.
• Proficiency in SQL and Azure SQL Database/SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration techniques.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and governance principles.
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data architectures using Azure data services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate into designs and specs.
• Evaluate and recommend Azure data services based on business needs and scalability.
• Develop data models, schemas, and data integration strategies for analytics and reporting.
• Design and implement data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data into Azure platforms.
• Optimize storage, processing, and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers.
