Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join the Enterprise Solutions team in Dallas, TX. You will design, build, and maintain cloud-based data integration solutions focusing on Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and the broader Azure ecosystem.

You will own modern ETL initiatives, optimize data flows, and collaborate with BI, data architects, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable integrations across ERP, APIs, and file formats.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data integration, ETL, or data engineering.
• Strong SQL: write, optimize, troubleshoot complex queries.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise-scale data pipelines and integration workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with analysts, architects, developers, and stakeholders.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration solutions from business needs to target systems.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes across cloud environments.
• Develop integrations using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, APIs, SFTP, JSON, XML.
• Create and maintain integrations from ERP systems into centralized data platforms and warehouses.
• Design and maintain databases, write complex SQL queries, and support data movement.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Ensure data quality and consistency through validation processes and business rules.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize integration workflows to resolve bottlenecks.
• Maintain technical documentation including mappings, workflows, and configurations.
• Support and enhance integrations involving enterprise applications like Workday, Medius, and other systems.
• Partner with BI to support reporting and Microsoft Fabric initiatives.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies related to Azure cloud services and data integration.
• Contribute to modernization of the organization’s cloud data platform and future-state architecture.
