Job summary

United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) is seeking a Data Engineer to design and develop highly available data management platforms for on‑prem and Azure cloud environments. You will partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and optimized for analytics, reporting, and operational needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering with Azure cloud experience.
• +1 year Azure cloud-native solutions and +3 years SSIS.
• Hands-on with MS SQL Server and SSIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement secure, scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Design and build ETL/ELT processes with Python, SQL and SSIS.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Detect and resolve data quality issues; implement automated audits and monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
