Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Data Quality Engineer to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data across its AI and search systems. You will design automated validation checks, monitor data pipelines in Azure AI Search and OpenAI environments, and build test suites to verify data across the lifecycle.

The role requires 4+ years in data quality/QA, strong SQL and API skills, hands-on AI tooling, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Quality Engineering, Data QA, or a similar role.
• Proven expertise in ensuring data accuracy and integrity through robust validation and testing.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and verification.
• Hands-on experience with APIs and AI technologies such as Azure AI Search or OpenAI.
• Strong background in combining automated and manual QA processes for data systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated data quality checks and validation rules using SQL and APIs.
• Monitor data pipelines for inconsistencies, anomalies, and missing information in Azure AI Search and OpenAI environments.
• Develop and maintain test suites to verify data accuracy, completeness, and formatting across the data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with data engineers and AI specialists to identify root causes of data issues and implement corrective actions.
• Establish and enforce data quality standards and governance policies to ensure referential integrity.
• Create detailed documentation for audit processes and quality improvements to track recurring data gaps.
