Job summary

Experis in Charlotte, NC is seeking a highly organized Jr Azure Data Engineer for a 6-month contract, hybrid work model (2–3 days onsite weekly). You will coordinate, validate, and maintain data pipeline integrity and DR testing across a portfolio of 20–30 cloud applications as the enterprise migrates to Azure.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of IT/Data experience, strong Azure knowledge, and excellent communication to align with owners, data teams, and security partners while ensuring timely,

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of hands-on IT, Data, or Technical Systems experience in a Junior Data Engineer, Technical Analyst, or Cloud Administrator capacity.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Azure cloud architecture, identity management, storage, networking, and modern data pipelines.
• Structured, detail-oriented mindset able to manage 20 to 30 distinct legacy and cloud data timelines simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication to coordinate across distributed teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Data & Testing Coordination: manage DR and data resiliency testing for 20–30 cloud applications.
• Cloud Migration Support: evaluate architectures and data structures for upcoming migration.
• Stakeholder Partnership: serve as the central technical point of contact for owners and teams.
• Technical Meeting Facilitation: lead test planning, readiness reviews, live bridge calls, and retrospectives.
• Compliance & Evidence Tracking: collect testing evidence and data pipeline documentation for compliance.
• Dashboards & Inventory Management: maintain cloud app inventory, metrics, and dashboards.
• Issue Resolution: coordinate to resolve scheduling conflicts and technical dependencies.
