Job summary

CompuNet, Inc. is seeking a Microsoft Data Engineer to design, build, and modernize enterprise data platforms using Azure Data Services, Fabric, and related technologies. You will architect secure data platforms, develop ETL/ELT pipelines, and enable analytics with Power BI.

The role requires advanced SQL, data modeling, and experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and governance. Collaboration with stakeholders and hands-on implementation are key.

Qualifications

Design and support modern Microsoft data platforms in Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
Build enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions.
Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Fabric Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and Databricks.
Create scalable data models and analytics solutions.
Implement governance, lineage, security, and compliance controls.
Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
Support Power BI, analytics, and AI initiatives.
Implement DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Serve as a Microsoft Data subject matter expert, lead customer engagements, develop Statements of Work, and maintain relevant certifications.
