Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

**While this role is remote, candidates must reside in TN, PA, VA, OH, MI, WI, MN, MO, IL, GA, or NC. Candidates outside of these states unfortunately, cannot be considered**

Required:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience with Azure including SQL as a Service, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Data Warehouse tools
• Experience working in Healthcare
• Experience with HL7

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• AZ-900 certification
• Experience working with or operationalizing ML models, even if only supporting MLOps specialists or data scientists.

Our client, growing provider of compassionate care to individuals with intellectual and mental health disabilities, is seeking to hire a Data Engineer to join their team to expand their technological capabilities to continue delivering specialized services to the community. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to cutting-edge data solutions that drive the mission forward.

Responsibilities:

• Healthcare Data: Work with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and extract data from EHR and EMR systems.
• HRIS Data: Extract data from HRIS systems such as ADP, Dayforce, iCIMS, Workday, etc.
• Financial Data: Extract data from financial systems such as Sage Intacct, Dynamics, Quickbooks, etc.
• Data Platforms: Work with platforms like Synapse, Demio, Synapse, Fabric, or Snowflake.
• Data Lake Architecture: Understand data lake load strategies, architectures, file formats, and security.
• Data Pipelines: Build and monitor both streaming and batch data pipelines (with CDC), including technologies like Azure Data Factory.
• DevOps: Work with GitHub or Azure DevOps and CI/CD tooling
• Infrastructure as Code: Work with with IaC tools such as Terraform, Open Tofu, or Bicep.
• Data Sources: Work with a variety of data sources, including relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and unstructured sources/files/NoSQL; connecting to API end points.
• Denormalization: Understand data normalization, denormalization practices, modeling, and Kimball-style star schemas.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions accordingly.

Compensation:

$110-130k annual salary
