Experis is hiring an Azure Data Engineer in Charlotte, NC (onsite) to build a strategic Azure data platform for a Securities Group within a financial services organization.

Responsibilities include designing scalable Azure-based data solutions, establishing reference data systems, and implementing data quality and governance frameworks using Azure Data Factory, Lake Gen 2, Databricks, and related services. 10+ years in software/data engineering with Python and SQL are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with Python, PySpark and related frameworks.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands-on work in Azure cloud services.
• Strong familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Lake Gen 2, Azure Databricks, and Azure Databases.
• Experience with data quality frameworks and data governance tools, including Collibra.
• Excellent SQL skills, including experience working with RDMS and noSQL databases.
• Understanding of the DevOps lifecycle and CI/CD processes.
