You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, evaluate technologies, and ensure data quality, security, and governance while optimizing performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• Extensive experience in data architecture and data engineering.
• Strong Azure data services expertise and SQL proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data architectures using Azure data services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into designs and specs.
• Evaluate Azure services based on performance, scalability and business needs.
• Develop data models, schemas, and data integration strategies for analytics and reporting.
• Design and implement data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading into Azure platforms.
• Optimize storage, processing and retrieval for cost efficiency and performance.
• Define data governance policies, standards and best practices for quality and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and team members.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data management and analytics.
