We are looking for an experienced Azure Solution Architect specializing in Data & AI to join our growing architecture team.
This role will work closely with prospective and existing clients to understand business and technical requirements, shape high-value Microsoft Azure solutions, identify opportunities to leverage accelerators and reusable assets, and provide technical ownership from presales through successful delivery.
Role Overview
Our Solution Architects balance their time across client delivery, presales, and innovation:
- 50% – Billable client delivery and technical architecture
- 25% – Presales and client engagement
- 25% – Proposition development, market insights, thought leadership, and continuous learning

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales, Technical Leads, Delivery Managers, and client stakeholders to shape and deliver innovative Data & AI solutions.
- Understand customer requirements from both technical and functional perspectives and translate business objectives into secure, scalable Azure architectures.
- Lead end-to-end presales solution architecture for cloud data platforms, analytics, AI, governance, and supporting technologies.
- Develop pragmatic, commercially viable solutions aligned with client objectives and delivery capabilities.
- Create architecture designs and effectively transition solutions to delivery teams.
- Provide technical oversight during implementation to help ensure the agreed architecture is successfully delivered.
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations that communicate business value, ROI, technical approach, and delivery strategy.
- Contribute to data, analytics, and AI accelerators, reference architectures, and reusable propositions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends and identify opportunities to incorporate relevant innovations.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support client expectations, delivery confidence, and overall customer satisfaction.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Azure Solution Architect with a strong focus on Data and AI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Spark, Python, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, Azure AI services, and Microsoft Purview.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, modeling, integration, analytics, governance, and modern data platforms.
- Understanding of Azure infrastructure, security, identity, networking, monitoring, and operational considerations.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps practices, and modern engineering standards.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Ability to estimate, cost, and shape technical solutions while understanding the impact of architectural decisions on delivery.
- Experience supporting organizations across different sizes and business environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
- Experience within financial services, including asset management, wealth management, capital markets, or trading, is a plus.
- Consulting or presales experience is valued, but candidates with strong architecture, communication, and stakeholder-management experience are encouraged to apply.
- Microsoft certifications are preferred, particularly Azure Solutions Architect Expert or relevant Data & AI certifications.
