Location: Farmington CT- Onsite / Looking for East Coast Candidates only

Required Qualifications:

Over 12 years of practical experience in data engineering development, with expertise in Snowflake, Data Build Tool, and Python.
Should have insurance domain experience
Proficient in programming with Python or Scala.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks) ,AWS data services
Skilled in using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Deep understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink, and other Apache ecosystem tools.
Proven experience with Snowflake and DataOps practices.
Solid knowledge of SQL and core data structure concepts.
Familiar with Data Vault modeling methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability, with a strong grasp of the 5Vs of Big Data: Volume, Variety, Veracity, Velocity, and Value.
Strong conceptual understanding of the MapReduce programming model.
Well-versed in software design principles and algorithm development.
Self-driven and quick to adapt, with a passion for learning new technologies and tackling complex challenges.
Extensive experience working within Agile methodologies and applying Agile principles effectively.
