Job summary

ZS Associates in the United States seeks a senior data & AI transformation leader to architect and deliver Azure and Databricks powered data platforms for client engagements. You will guide end‑to‑end data lakehouse solutions, ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data models across onshore/offshore teams.

You’ll mentor cross‑functional teams, drive agile delivery, and shape AI strategy, governance, and adoption roadmaps while traveling as needed to client sites. Hybrid work schedule supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business or Life Sciences.
• 10+ years of experience in business technology consulting, data engineering, or platform architecture.
• Strong expertise in Azure (ADF, ADLS, Azure OpenAI) and Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
• Experience with Data engineering frameworks (Python, SQL, PySpark); data architecture and lakehouse concepts.
• Exposure to Agentic AI / GenAI ecosystems and client-facing delivery leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and relationship management with senior stakeholders.
• Drive structured, executive-ready communication across business, data, and engineering teams.
• Architect and deliver modern data platforms on Azure and Databricks (lakehouse, pipelines, data models).
• Lead design and implementation of Agentic AI solutions leveraging enterprise data platforms.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery and cross-functional team management.
• Stay at the forefront of cloud, data, and AI trends, including Azure and Databricks ecosystems.
