Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Azure Cosmos DB experience in production environments.
• Strong experience with Cosmos DB data modeling and partitioning strategies.
• Throughput management (RU/s) optimization, indexing policies, and change feed processing.
• Multi-region deployment and global distribution expertise.
• High availability and disaster recovery patterns; monitoring and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Cosmos DB solutions for high-volume workloads.
• Define data models, partition keys, and indexing policies; manage data lifecycle.
• Architect highly available, scalable Cosmos DB implementations with best practices.
• Monitor RU consumption, throughput, latency, and performance; troubleshoot issues.
• Support deployments, schema evolution, capacity planning, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with application, infra, and architecture teams for integration.
• Establish disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
