Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Beachwood, OH is seeking an Azure Staff Cloud System Engineer to architect, implement and maintain Azure solutions across the organization. You will partner with product and data analytics teams to translate requirements into scalable cloud designs and lead Azure adoption.

The role requires 7+ years as an Azure Architect, strong IaC with Bicep (Terraform/ARM/Azure CLI acceptable), expertise in networking, security, and DevOps, and the ability to mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT or related field.
• 7+ years as Azure Architect with hands-on implementation.
• Experience with IaC using Bicep; other tools acceptable.
• Designing Azure-based scalable solutions for apps and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and teams to architect Azure solutions that meet business needs.
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure following best practices.
• Lead cross-functional delivery of Azure projects and ensure successful outcomes.
• Create technical designs, test plans, and deployment plans.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and cost control within Azure.
• Stay current with Azure technologies and trends and share insights.
• Support security, networking, and identity management within cloud deployments.
• Partner with DevOps for CI/CD and source control integration.
• Travel as required and participate in background checks and screening.
