Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our aerospace-focused team in Brea, CA. You will own the hybrid cloud environment, drive Azure modernization, and strengthen security posture.

Responsibilities include cloud infrastructure, network design, and managing a classified computing environment, with governance, audits, and coordination with security and compliance teams. The ideal candidate has Azure experience (Entra ID, Defender, Intune), Windows Server and AD skills, strong writing

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in hybrid cloud migration.
• Experience administering Azure: identity (Entra ID), virtual machines, vnet, CA policy, Azure Foundry, Purview, Defender, Intune.
• Design and manage basic network architecture: routing, switching, segmentation, firewall/ACL configuration, VLANs, RADIUS.
• Excellent writing skills, conceptual thinking skills, and communication skills needed to learn/implement GenAI tools.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure: Own and mature our Azure environment, governance, cost management, and security posture.
• Network Architecture: Design and document network architecture, VLAN segmentation, firewall/ACL configurations, and zero-trust considerations.
• Classified Environment: Maintain secure configurations, SSPs/POA&Ms, audits, and coordination with Facility Security Officer and compliance team.
• General Systems Administration: Administer Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, patching, incidents, and asset inventory; after-hours on-call.
