Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Cloud Application Deployment and Migration Specialist at mid-level to lead and contribute to migration, deployment, and sustainment of cloud-based enterprise applications in Microsoft Azure. The role involves coordinating with infrastructure, platform, vendor, and functional teams to prepare applications for cloud hosting and to ensure reliable operations.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in computing administration (AD design, deployment, operations) and 3+ years

Qualifications

Ability to obtain access to SAPs for eligible candidates.
4+ years computing administration, including AD design, deployment and ops.
3+ years deploying/migrating/operating enterprise apps.
3+ years supporting COTS or other enterprise software.
3+ years designing secure architecture with standard security tech (encryption, certificates, MFA/2FA, SSO).

Responsibilities

Plan and execute migration of on-prem apps to Microsoft Azure environments.
Perform readiness assessments and migration cutover planning.
Deploy and configure new COTS, OSS, and enterprise toolchain apps.
Support installation, configuration, integration, upgrades, patching, and sustainment.
Develop deployment automation and infrastructure-as-code artifacts.
Coordinate release management, promotions, and rollback procedures.
Troubleshoot authentication/authorization and related issues.
Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams.
Support data/storage migrations and environment cutover.
Provide mentorship to junior team members.
