Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Migration Engineer to lead cloud migration initiatives. You will design secure, scalable solutions, and develop cloud reference architectures aligned with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, strong Azure expertise, and proficiency in IaC. This role requires US Citizenship and an active Secret clearance. A competitive salary range of $135,000 - $216,000 is offered for this position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, with 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience leading large-scale cloud migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services including VMs, VNets, Storage, and more.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of enterprise-scale cloud migration initiatives.
• Develop cloud architectures, migration strategies, and reference architectures.
• Automate deployment and operational tasks; implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Document architectures, runbooks, and operational procedures.
