Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Azure Cloud Systems Engineer in Suitland, MD to design, implement, and maintain enterprise Azure architecture supporting Zero Trust tools, identity services, and security monitoring platforms.

Engineer Azure resource groups, design hybrid-cloud integration, provide architecture diagrams and documentation, and implement automation, monitoring, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s with 6+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience with Azure engineering, automation, and cloud-native architectures.
• Cloud platform management, deployment, and monitoring (AWS, Azure).
• PowerShell, Python, ARM/Bicep, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting RMF and cloud security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Engineer Azure resource groups, subscriptions, networking, virtual machines, identity integrations, and cloud baselines.
• Design hybrid-cloud integration supporting on-premises and cloud-based Zero Trust platforms.
• Provide cloud architecture documentation, diagrams, integration schemas, and operational support.
• Implement automation, monitoring, security baselines, and cloud compliance standards.
