Job summary

Invessio seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, secure, and optimize a Microsoft Azure environment supporting a fintech platform. You will build resilient infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code and automate repetitive tasks to reduce risk and cost.

You will collaborate with Development, DevOps, Security, and Operations teams to ensure performance, scalability, and compliance with SOC 2 and fintech standards, while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on cloud engineering/DevOps with Azure.
• Terraform IaC and PowerShell automation experience.
• Security and SOC 2 familiarity.
• Strong collaboration and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking.
• Develop and maintain IaC with Terraform to ensure repeatable environments.
• Automate provisioning and deployment using PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement cloud security controls, IAM, RBAC, encryption, and secrets management.
• Support SOC 2 readiness and fintech security standards with audits.
• Monitor, observe, and optimize cloud performance and costs.
• Test backup, disaster recovery, and high availability plans.
