Job summary

Schnabel is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build, secure, and operate cloud infrastructure and data platforms in Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on cloud resilience, security architecture, automation, and AI services.

Ideal candidates have deep hands-on Azure experience, Entra ID, and enterprise production background. The position emphasizes design and management of Azure networking, DR, and IaC using Bicep, with collaboration across security, application, and data

Qualifications

5+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering.
Hands-on Azure design, deployment, and security in enterprise.
Experience with DR, networking, and cost management.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure with a focus on availability, security, and disaster recovery.
Architect and support Azure DR solutions, including Azure Arc-enabled servers and hybrid workloads.
Design and manage Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, routing, NSGs, firewalls, and DMZs.
Deploy, manage, and secure Azure Firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity to on‑prem and third‑party environments.
Support and integrate AI Foundry and Azure AI services in alignment with security policies.
Implement and support Microsoft Fabric, including data ingestion, analytics, and governance.
Design and enforce Azure security, data access controls, and compliance standards.
Develop IaC using Bicep and manage APIs and observability with Azure Monitor.
