Job summary

Foundation Risk Partners is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer in the Orlando, FL area to manage and optimize the organization's Azure environment. The role focuses on security, governance, and cost-effective cloud operations, with a strong emphasis on migration planning and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Azure experience, hands-on skills with IaaS/PaaS, Windows Server administration, networking, and automation using PowerShell and Terraform.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure IaaS & PaaS resources.
• Windows Server administration and networking skills.
• Automation and scripting using PowerShell and Terraform.
• Root cause analysis and ability to automate repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Azure resources for performance, security, and compliance.
• Configure virtual networks, storage, and monitor utilization.
• Plan and execute migrations from on-premises or other clouds into Azure.
• Develop governance policies and ensure minimal downtime during transitions.
• Provide end-user training, vendor coordination, and create documentation.
