Job summary

World Acceptance Corporation is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, ensuring secure data storage, performance, and compliance. The role involves migrating applications and data to the cloud and collaborating with stakeholders for effective solutions.

The position requires strong Linux/Windows server administration, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 experience, plus virtualization expertise with VMware/AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Information Technology or related field with 5+ years of systems administration.
• Microsoft or VMware certifications are required.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux (IBM AIX) administration and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing IT infrastructure and plan migrations or builds to the cloud.
• Configure and manage cloud components: VMs, load balancers, front door, CDNs, app services, and networking.
• Automate repetitive tasks with scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Maintain and support Go Anywhere MFT platform and create documentation.
• Coordinate with Information Security to remediate issues.
