Job summary

Children’s Hospital Association in Lenexa, KS is seeking an IT Cloud Engineer to design and implement cloud‑based infrastructure for CHA’s centrally managed applications. You will deploy, automate, monitor, and maintain SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS solutions in Azure, collaborating with agile teams to support continuous delivery.

The role requires hands‑on experience with Azure services, Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code, and strong security and networking expertise, plus container deployments via

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a major cloud platform like Azure.
• 2+ years coding with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• 2+ years in infrastructure engineering and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure for CHA applications in Azure.
• Build automated build‑test‑deploy workflows with Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Develop scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
• Manage container deployments with AKS or Container Apps and ensure security.
• Instrument logging, monitoring, and alerting; perform RCA and post‑mortems.
• Provide technical leadership and conduct regular code reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Azure Policy and policy‑as‑code frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, security, and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies.
