Job summary

ARS-Rescue Rooter seeks an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, secure, and automate enterprise Azure environments, including AVD, migrations, and DevOps automation. You will partner with Infrastructure, Security, Networking, and Application Development teams to deliver compliant, scalable hybrid-cloud solutions.

Responsibilities include designing secure IaaS, administering AVD, implementing Terraform-based IaC, and supporting PCI DSS and NIST alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience with 3+ years on Azure engineering.
• Experience with PCI DSS, NIST, CIS frameworks in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize secure Azure IaaS environments with VMs, storage, backup, and governance.
• Administer AVD environments including host pools, session hosts, images, and FSLogix.
• Develop and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and YAML.
• Implement Zero Trust, identity & access management, and security controls across Azure.
• Plan migrations from on-premises to Azure and support modernization of IIS apps to containers/Kubernetes/AKS.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Audit teams on PCI DSS and enterprise controls.
